The process we follow to service our clients with Medical Grade Footwear (MGF) is detailed below:

Your Podiatrist prescribes MGF

We measure and fit MGF (and additional modifications)

Send colour 512pxSend white 512px

We send MGF to your Podiatrist (unless prior arrangements have been made)

*An appointment is required for all clients attending our clinic. *NO prior approval required for most footwear supply.

What is Medical Grade Footwear?

Medical grade footwear includes:

  • ready-made extra depth and/or width footwear
  • custom-made footwear manufactured by a contracted supplier to fit a client's individual foot and/or ankle structure.

Who can receive Medical Grade Footwear?

DVA clients who hold either a:

  • Veteran Gold Card
  • Veteran White Card*

*footwear is to treat an accepted health condition

Who can prescribe Medical Grade Footwear?

Your podiatrist or medical specialist can provide a referral to use our services.

Contracted Supplier:

As a contracted supplier, Perfect Fit Pedorthics will

  • work with the client and the assessing health provider to supply the MGF according to the prescription
  • measure, fit and trial the MGF with the client
